Singing and finger-picking on acoustic guitar is Byron Onisko. Byron was highly influenced by the late great John Cephas, who introduced him to the likes of Blind Boy Fuller, Big Bill Broonzy, and Doc Watson, among others. Byron's love for all styles of music is quite evident in their setlist -- always diverse and always full of fun!
Possessing a musical intuitiveness like no other
The other half of the duo is Matt Silva -- perhaps the most exciting guitar player west of the Rockies. Silva cut his teeth playing jazz in Detroit. He has toured Europe numerous times, and the list of luminaries he's played with here in the States is inexhaustible. Silva's rhythm, melodic, and harmonic sensibilities are off the charts. His appetite for all things great is voracious -- he is one intense dude!
